Veteran’s Picnic and Fishing Tournament for June 9th

To all of our Lionshead Lake residents:

To honor our many veterans that reside here in Lionshead Lake, we are sponsoring a Veteran’s Picnic on Sunday, June 9th at the lakefront beginning at noon. We invite all of our residents and veterans for hamburgers, hot dogs, refreshments and a chance to play in our horseshoe tournament. Bring your chairs and enjoy a day at the Lake.

In addition, we will be holding a Fishing Tournament from 7:00 am- noon for $5 per contestant. Bring your poles and bait! Whoever wins the biggest fish will win a trophy.

Reminder: January is Maintenance Fee Month

Just a reminder that January is Maintenance Fee Month. The time we have to start collecting maintenance fees to keep the lake going. January is a tough month as our funds start to run critically low. Taxes, water bills, PSE&G, etc. still keep coming in through the colder months. Please don’t forget your beloved lake and remind your neighbors. We need you. Thanks

Please help us save our lake. There are too few of us helping out and we don’t have enough funds to keep it going.

If we lose the lake it will effect our property values in our neighborhood, a scary thought as property values have already gone down enough in this economy.

We have many new fundraisers planned but we cant do it alone.

We meet every Tuesday at 7:00 in the clubhouse (we have a heater for the winter) and a lot of Saturdays to do the beach work. Its always nice seeing new faces.

There are a lot of fundraisers coming up.

Movie Night at the Beach: Take the kids out to the movies. Every Friday night which will continue as long as the warm weather holds out.

October 20th and 21st: Clubhouse clean out and painting the inside. We start at 8:00am. Come on down and volunteer some much needed help.

September 7th Starts Movie Night at the Beach !!!

Coming soon to Lionshead Lake:

Movie Night at the Beach starts Friday, September 7th and will continue each Friday night as long as the warm weather holds out.

ALSO:

Friday September 21st includes a special Camp out on the Beach until Saturday. Bring your own food and tent and we will supply the bagels, coffee and juice in the morning. Fundraising cost for all this fun is only: $20 a family
